The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (13-9) lost to Fulton-Montgomery Community College (10-4) 69-65 on Thursday evening.
The Vikings saw their nine-point halftime lead disappear five minutes into the second half as the Raiders jumped right out of the gate. Trailing by three with one minute left in the game, Nate Krimsky (Berne-Knox/Berne) converted on a three-point play to tie the game. The Raiders came down and hit a three-point field goal to go up three en route to the four-point victory. Jeremy Taylor (Catskill/Catskill) led the Vikings with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Jose Reyes (Shenendehowa/Clifton Park) recorded 15 points, and Giacomo Giglio (Catholic Central/Glenmont) added 12 in the loss.
The men travel to Columbia-Greene on Saturday for a game at 1 p.m.
