The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (12-8) lost to #6 Herkimer County Community College (15-2) 52-43 on Saturday afternoon.
The Viking's kept it close against the #6 team in the nation and trailed by only one point at the half. The Vikings slowed down the pace of the game which gave them a chance, but Herkimer proved to be too much in the end. Brandon Dean (Flagler Palm Coast/Bunnell, FL) led the Vikings with 13 points, and Jose Reyes (Shenendehowa/Clifton Park) added 12 in the loss.
The men travel to Adirondack on Tuesday, Jan. 22 for a game at 6 p.m.
