The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (11-7) lost to Schenectady County Community College (7-6) in overtime, 66-64 on Saturday afternoon.
The Vikings came from behind in the second after trailing by two at the half, but the Royals prevailed in overtime. Jeremy Taylor (Catskill/Catskill) led the Vikings with 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Jose Reyes (Shenendehowa/Clifton Park) added 14 points in the tough loss.
The men travel to North Country on Wednesday, Jan. 16 for a game at 3 p.m.
