The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (6-3) defeated Cayuga Community College (1-7)71-62 on Tuesday evening.
Richard Williams (Harry S. Truman/Bronx) came off the bench and provided the Vikings with a much needed spark. Williams grabbed 11 boards and scored seven points in the second half, finishing with 13 rebounds and nine points. Brandon Dean (Flagler Palm Coast/Bunnell, FL) added a team high 14 points and Jose Reyes (Shenendehowa/Clifton Park) chipped in 13 in the nine point victory.
The Vikings host Jefferson Community College on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 3 p.m.
