The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (0-1) lost to Fulton-Montgomery Community College (1-0) 69-65 on Thursday evening.
Jose Reyes (Shenendehowa/Clifton Park) led the Vikings in his college debut with 20 points, while Brandon Dean (Flagler Palm Coast/Bunnell, FL) added 19 in a hard fought game against the Fulton-Montgomery Raiders. Fulton-Montgomery led by seven at the half but the Vikings came out and tied the game at 41 with 13 minutes to play. The Vikings trailed by three with 13 seconds left, but a late turnover ended up being the difference in the game.
The Vikings travel to Corning on Sunday, Nov. 4 for a game at 3 p.m.
