The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (5-9) lost to Schenectady County Community College (4-9) , 83-75. The Vikings trailed Schenectady by 12 points with less than 10 minutes left in the game, but Daisean Roberts' (Cadozo/Queens) spark provided a late rally to bring the game to overtime. Roberts tied the game at 58, after he stole the ball at half court and drove in for a lay-up. On the very next possession, Roberts stole the ball again and found Anthony Robustiano (Mohonasen/Rotterdam) who knocked down the open three-point field goal to give the Vikings a three point lead. A late three pointer from Schenectady put the game in overtime, where the Royals regained control of the game and defeated the Vikings, 83-75.
Robustiano and Kalik Parker (Ragsdale/Jamestown, NC) led the way with 18 points apiece. Steve Hunt (Tamarac/Wynantskill) added a double-double, recording 12 points and 10 rebounds.
