The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (30-2) advanced to the championship game of the Region III tournament with a 65-57 victory over Delhi. This is the Vikings' third win over Delhi this season.
Ian Austin-Michaud (Ichabod Crane HS/Valatie) led the Vikings with 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Dalton Austin-Michaud (Ichabod Crane HS/Ichabod Crane) finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Pat Barnes (Mohonasen HS/Guilderland) added eight points and 10 rebounds in the winning effort.
Hudson Valley will next face the winner of the Finger Lakes vs. Jefferson game for the Region III Championship at 1 p.m. tomorrow.
