The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (16-0, 27-2) defeated Mohawk Valley Community College, 85-78, in overtime on Thursday, Feb. 19.
The victory concludes a perfect season for the Vikings in Mountain Valley Conference play.
Four players scored in double figures for the team, led by Garret Bishop's (Saratoga Springs HS/Saratoga Springs) 21 points, and Ramel Alexander (Albany HS/Albany), who scored six of his 20 points in overtime. Ian Austin-Michaud (Ichabod Crane HS/Valatie) and Dalton Austin-Michaud (Ichabod Crane HS/Valatie) chipped in with 15 and 10 points, respectively.
