The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team (19-2) defeated Adirondack Community College, 94-76, Tuesday evening.
The Vikings, who shot 50 percent from the floor and placed five players in double figures, were led by Ramel Alexander's (Albany HS/Albany) 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting.
Dalton Austin-Michaud (Ichabod Crane HS/Valatie) recorded a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Pat Barnes (Mohonasen HS/Rotterdam) and Ian Austin-Michaud (Ichabod Crane HS/Valatie) chipped in with 14 points, and Barnes also added 11 rebounds. Garret Bishop (Saratoga Springs HS/Saratoga) rounded out the double figure scoring with 10 points, and also contributed 6 assists.
The team is back in action this Thursday when they travel to face Fulton Montgomery Community College.
