Hudson Valley Community College is ranked No. 1 in the NJCAA Division III men's basketball poll for the seventh straight week in the poll that was released earlier today..
The Vikings are off to a 23-0 start this season and are the only undefeated team among all NJCAA Division III colleges.
Sophomore guard Justin Gallo (Brunswick/Lansingburgh High School) leads the Vikings with 22.1 points per game. He currently ranks third on the college's all-time scoring list with 980 career points.
Sophomore forward Datwan Hemingway (Albany/CBA) is netting 19.7 points per game and grabbing 14.1 rebounds per contest. Sophomore guard Emanuel Mayben (Troy/Troy High School) is averaging 19 points and 9.7 assists per game.
Hudson Valley returns to action Wednesday, February 6 when it hosts Clinton Community College (13-10) at 7 p.m.
