The Hudson Valley Community College (22-0) men's basketball team kept its perfect record intact with a 97-51 win over Adirondack Community College (5-15) this evening in Troy.
Six players finished in double-figures scoring for Hudson Valley led by sophomore forward Datwan Hemingway's (Albany/CBA) 17 points and 19 rebounds.
Sophomore guard Emanuel Mayben (Troy/Troy High School) set a school record with 15 assists to go along with his 14 points.
Sophomore guard Justin Gallo (Brunswick/Lansingburgh High School) and sophomore forward Derick Faragon (Schenectady/Schenectady High School) added 15 points apiece. Sophomore guards Ryne Luce (Cohoes/Cohoes High School) and Just-IN'Love Smith (Sacramento, CA/Columbia High School) chipped in 11 points each.
Adirondack received a game-high 19 points from sophomore Andrew Sherwin (Argyle).
Hudson Valley, the top-ranked team in today's NJCAA Division III poll, returns to action this Thursday, January 31 at 7 p.m. when it hosts Fulton-Montgomery Community College.
