Sophomore guard Emanuel Mayben (Troy/Troy High School) posted a triple-double to lead the Hudson Valley Community College (7-0) men's basketball team to a 91-68 win over Finger Lakes Community College (2-3) today in Canandaigua.
Mayben finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists for the Vikings, who scored the first 13 points of the second half, stretching a 42-32 halftime lead to 55-32. The host Lakers would get no closer than 15 points after that.
Sophomore forward Datwan Hemingway (Albany/CBA) posted his seventh double-double of the season with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore guards Ryne Luce (Cohoes/Cohoes High School) and Justin Gallo (Brunswick/Lansingburgh High School) added 16 points apiece.
