The Hudson Valley Community College (9-4/6-4 Region III) hit 12-of-21 shots from beyond the arc en route to a 98-77 win over Tompkins Cortland Community College (3-7/2-6 Region III) today in Troy.
Hudson Valley, which leads all NJCAA Division III schools with 122 three-point baskets this season, shot 56.9 percent (37-for-65) from the floor.
Freshman guard Justin Gallo (Brunswick/Lansingburgh High School) led the way with 26 points for the Vikings. Sophomore Zach Bye (Scotia/Scotia-Glenville High School) added 12 points and 10 rebounds and sophomore forward Bryan Ashline (Watervliet/Watervliet High School) netted 10 points. All 12 players on Hudson Valley's roster scored in the game.
Tompkins Cortland got 20 points from freshman forward Xavier Massard (Queens).
