Sophomore forward Larry Tape (Syracuse/Cicero-North Syracuse High School) finished with career-highs 30 points and 20 rebounds to lead the Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team to a 97-81 win at Morrisville State College on Saturday.
Hudson Valley finished its regular season with a 20-10 record, earning its first 20-win season since the 2000-01 season. Morrisville, which entered the game ranked ninth in the NJCAA Division 3 poll, drops to 26-4.
Sophomore forward Allan Dickson (Troy/Troy High School) finished with 22 points and has scored more than 20 points in each of the last four games for the Vikings. Sophomore guard J.R. Battle (Binghamton/Binghamton High School) added 16 points and sophomore forward Khylan Hunt (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs High School) chipped in 14 points.
