Hudson Valley Community College (17-10) raced out to a 20-3 lead and never trailed in an 84-44 win over Columbia-Greene Community College (5-17) in men's basketball action tonight in Troy.
Sophomore forward Allan Dickson (Troy/Troy High School) hit six three-point baskets en route to 30 points to lead the Vikings. He also finished with 13 rebounds, four steals and three blocked shots.
Sophomore guard J.R. Battle (Binghamton/Binghamton High School) added 16 points and six assists for Hudson Valley and sophomore guard Dane Samuels (New City/Clarkstown North High School) contributed 14 points and six assists.
Columbia-Greene was led by Larry Farrell's (Athens) 12 points.
Hudson Valley will return to action at 7 pm on Monday, February 20 against Corning Community College in Troy.
