Sophomore forward Khylan Hunt (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs High School) finished with 23 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team to a 67-52 win at SUNY Cobleskill on Tuesday.
Hudson Valley has won five straight games and has improved its record to 13-7 on the season and 11-7 in Region III games.
Cobleskill raced out to an early 16-5 lead in the contest, but Hudson Valley responded with good defense and managed to take a 33-31 lead into halftime.
Sophomore Allan Dickson (Troy/Troy High School) added 15 points and seven rebounds and sophomore Mike Collopy (Averill Park/Averill Park High School) contributed 11 points and five boards for the Vikings.
Hudson Valley will host Herkimer County Community College at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 28.
