The Hudson Valley Community College (12-7/10-7 Region III) men's basketball team improved its winning streak to four games with an 88-82 win over Tompkins Cortland Community College (4-12, 3-11 Region III) earlier today in Troy.
Sophomore forward Allan Dickson (Troy/Troy High School) finished with 24 points and five steals to lead Hudson Valley. Sophomore guard Dane Samuels (New City/Clarkstown North High School) finished with 16 points and sophomore forward Khylan Hunt (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs High School) contributed 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Tompkins Cortland hit 10 three-point baskets in the game. Freshman guard Andy Jeffries (Central Square/Central Square High School) hit three from beyond the arc en route to a game-high 27 points. Sophomore guard Jared Martin (Canton/Canton High School) added 19 points.
Hudson Valley will visit SUNY Cobleskill at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24.
