Sophomore forward Allan Dickson (Troy/Troy High School) finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Hudson Valley Community College (9-7) men's basketball team to an 86-69 win over Fulton-Montgomery Community College (4-10) this afternoon in Troy.
Sophomore forward Khylan Hunt (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs High School) also had a double-double with 20 points and 17 rebounds. He moved into 10th place on Hudson Valley's all-time scoring list with 730 career points.
Sophomore guard Dane Samuels (New City/Clarkstown North High School), playing in just his third game for the Vikings, added 16 points and five steals and sophomore center Larry Tape (Syracuse/Cicero-North Syracuse High School) added 12 points.
Sophomore Darell Thomas (Manhattan/Manhattan Center High School) had 20 points to pace Fulton-Montgomery.
Hudson Valley will visit Schenectady County Community College on Tuesday, January 17. The game begins at 7 p.m.
