Sophomore forward Khylan Hunt (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs High School) finished with 23 points, 17 rebounds and three blocks to lead the Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team to a 70-63 win at SUNY Canton on Saturday.
Hudson Valley has won four consecutive games and has improved its record to 7-3 on the season. Canton had its record fall to 1-9.
Hudson Valley held a 42-33 rebounding advantage in the contest. Sophomore Larry Tape (Syracuse/Cicero-North Syracuse High School) had 10 rebounds to go along with eight points. Sophomore J.R. Battle (Binghamton/Binghamton High School) added 16 points and freshman Lee McCarthy (Green Island/Heatly High School) contributed 10 points.
Thomas Reid had 23 points and 12 boards to pace the Northstars.
