Sophomore forward Khylan Hunt (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs High School) finished with 28 points, eight rebounds and four assists to lead the Hudson Valley Community College (6-3) men's basketball team to an 82-69 win over SUNY Cobleskill (5-5) earlier tonight in Troy.
Hudson Valley trailed 52-40 early in the second half before going on a 21-4 run to take the lead for good.
Sophomore guard J.R. Battle (Binghamton/Binghamton High School) added 16 points and five steals for the Vikings. Sophomore Allan Dickson (Troy/Troy High School) contributed 16 points and sophomore Larry Tape (Syracuse/Cicero-North Syracuse High School) posted 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Sophomore Michael Lawrence (Newburgh/Newburgh Free Academy) had 27 points to pace the Tigers.
