The Hudson Valley Community College men's basketball team closed out the semester with a 79-65 loss at Monroe Community College on Saturday afternoon.
Hudson Valley's record drops to 6-7 on the year while Monroe, which is ranked 10th in the latest NJCAA Division II poll, improves to 10-1.
Freshman forward Khylan Hunt (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs High School) finished with 18 points to lead Hudson Valley. Sophomore guard Aric Kucel (Gloversville/Gloversville High School) and freshman forward Ryan Livingston (Bethlehem/LaSalle Institute) added 11 points apiece.
The Vikings will return to action on Thursday, January 13 when they host Onondaga Community College. The game is slated to start at 6 p.m.
