The Hudson Valley Community College (3-3) men's basketball team suffered an 83-74 overtime setback at Columbia-Greene Community College (3-1) on Thursday in Hudson.
Hudson Valley held a 50-40 lead midway through the second half before the Twins went on an 11-2 run to cut the Vikings lead to one, 52-51. Columbia-Greene took its first lead of the second half, 65-64, with two minutes remaining on a pair of free throws by James Brown. The two teams were tied at 67-67 after regulation.
Freshman forward Khylan Hunt (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs High School) led Hudson Valley with 25 points and nine rebounds. Sophomore guard Aric Kucel (Gloversville/Gloversville High School) added 13 points.
Hudson Valley will travel to SUNY Delhi on Monday, November 22. The game starts at 7 p.m.
