Hudson Valley Mourns the Loss of Matthew Kupic

Hudson Valley athletics mourns the loss of Matthew Kupic, a long-time member of the Hudson Valley family, who was inducted into the college's Athletic Hall of Fame in 1981.

He began working at Hudson Valley in 1969 and retired in 1995 as a senior admissions counselor. He served as Hudson Valley's men's basketball coach from 1971 to 1979. A 1962 graduate of Hudson Valley, Kupic was the captain of the 1961-62 basketball team that finished the year 22-3 - the best record in school history.
