The Hudson Valley Community College (14-12) men's basketball team fell to NJCAA Division II Monroe Community College (22-5), 73-61, on Saturday in Rochester.
Sophomore guards Josh Wysocki (Hoosick Falls/Hoosick Falls High School) and Markael Brace (Albany/Albany High School) netted 12 points apiece for Hudson Valley in the loss. Freshman forward Bob Boughton (Glenmont/Bethlehem High School) added 10 points for the Vikings.
Brace moved into sixth on the school's all-time scoring list with 897 career points. He surpassed Dennis Pitaniello, who scored 893 points from 1998-2000.
Hudson Valley will travel to Mohawk Valley on Tuesday, February 25 for a first round regional contest beginning at 7 p.m.
