Freshman forward Allan Dickson (Troy/Troy High School) poured in 26 points to lead the Hudson Valley Community College (13-9) men's basketball team to a 79-60 win over host Schenectady County Community College on Tuesday.
The Hudson Valley victory gave head coach Vince Medici his 150th career win. Already with more wins than any other men's basketball coach in school history, Medici's record is currently 150-77.
Also finishing in double-figures scoring for Hudson Valley were sophomore guard Markael Brace (Albany/Albany High School)with 16 points, freshman guard Antwan Gibson (Troy/Troy High School) with 15 points, and freshman guard Tim Kindlon (Delmar/Bethlehem High School) with 14 points.
Hudson Valley will play at Columbia-Greene Community College on Thursday, February 13. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
