The Hudson Valley Community College (10-8) men's basketball team suffered a 76-68 setback at Fulton-Montgomery Community College on Thursday. In the latest Region III poll, Hudson Valley is ranked seventh and Fulton-Montgomery (13-5) is third.
Freshman guards Tim Kindlon (Delmar/Bethlehem High School) and Justin Smith (East Greenbush/Columbia High School) netted 17 points apiece to lead the Vikings. Freshman forward Allan Dickson (Troy/Troy High School) and sophomore center Bill Heslin (Schaghticoke/Hoosic Valley High School) added 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Hudson Valley will return home to face Herkimer Community College on Saturday, February 1. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
