Four players finished in double-figures scoring as the Hudson Valley Community College (10-7) men's basketball team defeated host SUNY Cobleskill 93-80 on Tuesday. The win avenges Hudson Valley's 54-52 loss to Cobleskill (12-6) on December 5.
Sophomore guard Markael Brace (Albany/Albany High School) ran his double-figures scoring streak to 21 games with a game-high 25 points. He also collected eight rebounds. Sophomore center Bill Heslin (Schaghticoke/Hoosic Valley High School) made three shots from beyond the arc en route to 22 points. Freshman guard Justin Smith (East Greenbush/Columbia High School) and freshman forward Allan Dickson (Troy/Troy High School) added 17 and 14 points, respectively.
Hudson Valley will play at Fulton-Montgomery Community College on Thursday, January 30. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
