The Hudson Valley Community College (9-6) men's basketball team suffered an 83-70 setback at SUNY Delhi (17-1) on Friday. Delhi entered the game ranked second in the latest NJCAA Division III poll.
Sophomore guard Markael Brace (Albany/Albany High School) finished with 25 points to lead Hudson Valley. Brace has finished in double-figures scoring in 19 straight games and has ascended the 20-point plateau in six of his last seven contests.
Also finishing in double-figures scoring for Hudson Valley were freshman guard Tim Kindlon (Delmar/Bethlehem High School) and freshman forward Allan Dickson (Troy/Troy High School) with 13 points apiece.
Hudson Valley will travel to Mohawk Valley Community College on Saturday, January 25. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
