Hudson Valley Community College made 42 of 58 free throw attempts and went on to defeat host Herkimer Community College 90-79 on Saturday, November 23.
Freshman forward Allan Dickson (Troy/Troy High School) led four Hudson Valley players in double-figures scoring. He finished with 19 points, 15 rebounds and five steals while sophomore guard Markael Brace (Albany/Albany High School) had 17 points and three steals.
Sophomore guard Josh Wysocki (Hoosick Falls/Hoosick Falls High School) was 10-for-10 from the charity stripe en route to 16 points for the Vikings and freshman guard DaQuan Young (Albany/Bishop Maginn High School) had 12 points and three assists.
