Football Jumps One Spot in Latest NJCAA Football Poll

The Hudson Valley Community College football program jumped up one slot and are ranked No. 4 in the latest NJCAA Division III Football poll, as announced by the NJCAA on late Monday afternoon.

The Vikings are off to a strong start and improved to 4-0 after they defeated Nichols College JV 61-6 on Sunday afternoon in Dudley, Mass. The Vikings played to their strengths against Nichols JV and will now prepare for No. 5 Nassau, a national-powerhouse program, which the Vikings have not beaten since 2016, a 28-24 win.

The Nassau game is part of Hudson Valley's annual homecoming weekend and will kick off at 1 p.m. at the Outdoor Athletic Complex on the campus of HVCC.
