The Hudson Valley Community College football team (1-5) lost 46-7 to Milford Academy (6-1) on Saturday night at Hudson Valley's Outdoor Athletic Complex.

Milford jumped out to an early 13-0 lead before the Vikings offense hit for a 75-yard touchdown pass as Wesley Manning (Setauket/Ward Melville) found Edwin Baez (Santo Domingo/Fordham Leadership Academy) down field for the the score, cutting into Milford's lead 13-7.

Milford scored again in the second quarter when Eddie Lewis returned the Vikings kickoff 85-yards for the score. Milford attempted and failed the two-point conversion and the Falcons entered halftime with a 19-7 lead.

The Falcons shutout the Vikings in the second half and added a pair of rushing touchdowns in each of the third and fourth quarters to secure the 46-7 win over the Vikings.

During halftime, the Hudson Valley athletics department honored its newest members of the Vikings Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2017. Included in the Hall of Fame Class are former football head coach Bob Jojo, former football players Emmanuel Marc and Darnell Stapleton. Lindsey Bradt (Women's Basketball), Tracy Chesebrough (Sears) (Softball), Kristina Jenkins (Bowling), Willie Hammett (Contributor) and the 2001 National Champions men's ice hockey team were also inducted into the Hall of Fame earlier on Saturday afternoon.

Football has a bye this week and will be home again on Oct. 21 to face Monroe College at the Outdoor Athletic Complex with a 2 p.m. scheduled kickoff.
