The Hudson Valley Community College football team had six players earning All-Region honors. Nick Gilbo (Moriah Central/Port Henry) freshman linebacker and Matt Fallico (Fayetteville-Manlius/Syracuse) sophomore linebacker were the two representatives on the defensive side of the ball. Gilbo was tied for second in the conference, averaging 9.0 tackles per game and finishing with 72 total tackles. He also led the Vikings with five sacks on the year. Fallico finished seventh in the conference with 7.2 tackles per game, and recorded two sacks and one forced fumble.
Nick Pedrotti (West Genesee/Syracuse) sophomore offensive lineman, C.J. Jones (Woodbridge/Baltimore, MD) freshman running back, Dexter Green (N. Myrtle Beach (SC)/Syracuse) sophomore wide receiver and Josh Gross (Old Mill/Glen Burnie, MD) freshman tight end rounded out the All-Region Offensive Team. Pedrotti helped anchor the offensive line, playing in all eight games this season. Jones led the team with 406 yards on the ground and four touchdowns on the season. Leading the team in all-purpose yardage and finishing fourth in the conference was wide receiver and kick return specialist Green. Green averaged 110.8 all-purpose yards each game and 18.4 yards in the kick return game. Gross led the team in receiving yards and finished third in the conference with 49.0 yards per game. He also had a team-high three receiving touchdowns on the year.
