Lance Cooley (Decatur, Decatur, GA) of the Hudson Valley Community College football team has been honored as an NJCAA Defense Second Team All-American. Cooley helped to anchor a talented Viking defense as a defensive lineman/nose tackle. His play was imperative to Hudson Valley's success at stopping the run.
Cooley is in the process of selecting an NCAA, Div. I institution where he will continue his academic and athletic career on an athletic scholarship.
