Former Hudson Valley Community College football player, Emmanuel Marc, signed a contract to play for the Winnipeg Bombers of the Canadian Football League on Tuesday, Feb. 9.
The Spring Valley, NY native had two tremendous seasons in 2002-03 as a Viking and remains the college's all-time leading rusher with 3,273 yards. He also holds the highest season total rushing yards with 2,038 yards and holds the career, season and game touchdown records with 30, 18 and 5, respectively.
After his time at Hudson Valley, Marc continued his education and collegiate athletic career at Delaware State University where he rushed for an additional 1,401 yards and scored 12 touchdowns. He also racked up 633 yards on kick returns for Delaware State. Marc graduated from Delaware State in 2006.
