Former Hudson Valley Community College All-American Emmanuel Marc was honored as the Most Valuable Player of last Saturday's Detroit Football Classic.
Marc rushed for 129 yards, including a 33-yard touchdown run, to lead his Delaware State University Hornets to a 34-14 win over Florida A&M University.
The game was played at Ford Field in front of 29,713 fans and a national television audience on ESPNU.
Marc is Hudson Valley's all-time leading rusher. He was named the NJCAA Offensive Player of the Year in 2003.
