The Hudson Valley Community College football team is ranked 15th in the NJCAA football poll that was released earlier today.
Hudson Valley rolled to a 47-0 win over Hartwick College's junior varsity team last Sunday in the season opener. The Vikings have won six straight games dating back to last season and will host RPI's junior varsity team at noon this Sunday, September 11. Hudson Valley will begin defense of its Northeast Football Conference title when Dean College visits on Saturday, September 17.
Hudson Valley used a balance offensive attack in the win over Hartwick, passing for 235 yards and rushing for 219 yards. Meanwhile, the defense held the Hawks to -2 yards of offense.
