Hudson Valley Community College's Adrian Brown (Baltimore, MD/Randallstown High School) has been recognized as a junior college Super Sophomore in the Street and Smith's 2005 College Football Yearbook.
Brown, a 6-6, 354 pound offensive tackle who redshirted a year ago, will be a newcomer on a line that includes returning starters Josh Nelson (Cambridge/Greenwich High School), John Rescott (Troy/Lansingburgh High School) and Paul Furman (Amsterdam/Amsterdam High School). Mike Izzo (Staten Island/Susan B. Wagner High School), who started in 2003 but had to sit out last year with an injury, also is expected to return.
Hudson Valley opens its season on Sunday, September 4 at Hartwick JV.
