The Northeast Football Conference recognized Hudson Valley Community College sophomore defensive end Jonal St.-Dic (Elizabeth, NJ/Elizabeth High School) as its Defensive Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, October 24. Hudson Valley's freshman kicker/punter Bobby Collett (Middletown/Goshen High School) was named the conference's Special Teams Player of the Week.
St.-Dic contributed 10 tackles, three sacks, and forced a fumble in Hudson Valley's 15-6 win over Nassau Community College on Saturday, October 23. He leads the conference with 10.5 sacks, 23 tackles for loss and four forced fumbles this season.
Collett punted the ball nine times and averaged 39.8 yards per punt. He pinned the Lions inside their own 20 yard line three times. Collett also connected on a 47-yard field goal.
