In the sixth inning, Josh Foglia and Juan Abreu led the inning off with back-to-back singles. Following a hit-by-pitch on Colin Lynch, Brendan Curry sent a deep fly to centerfield for a sacrifice fly, scoring Foglia to tie the game at 9-9. Later in the inning, Anthony Rizzo hit a single to right field and drove in two runs to put the Vikings up 11-9.

Matthew Hall closed out the game and earned the win as he pitched the final two innings and gave up one run on two hits with one strikeout.

The Vikings wasted no time in the final game of the season as they put seven runs on the board in the first two innings of the game. Juan Abreu finished a perfect 3-or-3 at the plate, scoring three runs and drove in four RBIs.

Abreu opened up the scoring in the first inning when he doubled on the first pitch of the at-bat, which scored two runs. Later in the game, the Vikings put up four more runs in the fourth inning as the offense was led by Abreu, Connor Waiting and Carson Patrick, who all drove in runs during the inning.

On the mound, Jayden Hughes earned the win after he allowed just one run on two hits over 4.1 innings pitched. Hughes struck out seven and walked one batter. Albert Vargas threw the final 0.2 innings in relief to secure the win.
