For the third week in a row, a member of the Hudson Valley Community College baseball team has earned Region 3 Athlete of the Week honors. Joseph Bender (Guilderland/Guilderland) was the most recent recipient as he went 7-12 last week in helping the Vikings split a four-game set with Clinton. He registered multi-hit games in three of those four games while adding six RBIs.
