The Hudson Valley Community College baseball team (3-1) took two from Methodist Community College (SC) on Monday, March 22, 10-8 and 8-1.
In game one, Dave Balsamo (Shenendehowa, Halfmoon) went three-for-four with a two-run double. Andrew Christie (Troy, Troy) went two-for-three with a triple in the win. Game two saw another Viking offensive explosion as Bobby Peluso (Columbia, East Greenbush) went two-for-five with two RBI's and Tyler Young (Shaker, Latham) blew the game open with a three-run double. Young went four-for-four in the victory.
The Vikings play a double-header against Brunswick Community College on Tuesday, March 23.
