The Hudson Valley Community College baseball team improved its record to 4-1 on the season with an 11-2 win over Queensborough Community College and an 11-8 win over Montgomery-Germantown Community College on Sunday.
Sophomore Jeremy Gulich (Horseheads/Horseheads High School) tossed a complete-game, three-hitter, against Queensborough. He fanned six batters and walked only one. Freshman Joel Molina (Middletown/Middletown High School) picked up three hits, including two doubles, and two runs batted in. Sophomore Bill Kelts (Waterford/Christian Brothers Academy) had three hits and four RBI.
Molina also belted three hits in the Vikings win over Montgomery-Germantown. Sophomores Kody Caulfield (Schenectady/Schenectady High School) and Kyle Sharp (Latham/Shaker High School) each had two-run doubles in a nine-run first inning for Hudson Valley.
