A three-sport standout at Hudson Valley, Kris Bowles excelled in basketball, soccer and softball. She finished her career among the top 20 all-time scorers in basketball with 660 points and was a member of the 1992-93 national championship team. She also established a college record for soccer goals in a season with 28 in 1992. Bowles led the softball team in hitting for two consecutive years, batting .488 in 1993 and .478 in 1994. She also established Hudson Valley’s single-season stolen base record with 24 steals.
