Coached:1971-1999

At the time he retired, Paul Bishop had more wins than any other coach in Hudson Valley history. From 1971 to 1999, Bishop was 358-197 as the head coach of the Hudson Valley women’s basketball team. He led the Lady Vikings to four Mountain Valley Conference titles, three Region III championships, and the 1992-93 NJCAA national championship. He was named NJCAA Coach of the Year following the 1992-93 season. Bishop also coached the volleyball team from 1971 to 1988, posting a 276-153-4 record. His volleyball teams won four conference titles and one regional championship. The Hudson Valley Coach of the Year Award is named after Bishop.
