Bio
Captain of the Hudson Valley wrestling team in 1970-71, Edward Barber established an individual dual-meet career record with a 35-5 mark. He twice placed at the Region III tournament, taking home a second- and third-place finish. Barber was a two-time Collar City Classic Tournament champion and was voted Hudson Valley’s Most Outstanding Athlete as a senior. An outstanding student as well, Barber graduated with a 3.5 GPA and was a member of the 1969-70 wrestling team that was named National Academic Co-Champions.
