Bio
Tess Fleming is a dedicated and experienced BOC-certified athletic trainer with a passion for advancing athlete rehabilitation and ensuring a confident return to sport. Licensed in Florida and New York, she brings a wealth of knowledge in evidence-based injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation protocols tailored to each athlete’s unique needs.
Tess arrived to HVCC after a stint as the Head Athletic Trainer at Albany High School. She has extensive experience working with athletes at all levels. She has played a key role in educating athletes and coaches on nutrition, functional movement patterns, and injury prevention strategies. Her expertise includes manual therapy, guided exercise programs, bracing techniques, and emergency response services to optimize athletic performance and recovery.
With a strong background in sports medicine and rehabilitation, Tess has worked in various settings, from high school athletics to sports physical therapy clinics and military prep programs. Her hands-on approach and commitment to athlete well-being make her a trusted professional in the field.
Tess holds certifications in Advanced Bleeding Control, AED/BLS, and emergency response training, ensuring the highest level of care during both routine practices and high-stakes sporting events. She is passionate about collaborative care, working closely with coaches, parents, and medical professionals to create safe, effective recovery plans for athletes.
