ALBANY, N.Y. – More than 20 student-athletes including nine SUNYAC student-athletes are being honored with the SUNY Scholar Athlete of the Year Awards for combining academic achievement with success in the arena of athletic competition during the 2024-25 winter season.

Description: Brianna Weaver finishes the 24-25 season as Onondaga's leading scorer averaging 13.3 points per game and shooting 31.1% from the 3-point line. She shot an astounding 9-21 (42.8%) from the arc in the first two games of Onondaga's appearance at the National Tournament in Rochester, MN against the No. 6 and No. 3 seeded teams. She earned First Team All-MSAC and First Team All-Region accolades for the season as well as Honorable Mention All-American. She earned a perfect 4.0 GPA in the Fall of 2024.
