Hudson Valley Community College is proud to participate in the first ever SUNY Chancellor Esports Challenge powered by Extreme Networks. This is a tournament open to all 64 SUNY schools designed to creatively involve students throughout this health crisis.

The goal is to raise #SUNYTogether Student Emergency Funds.

Chancellor Johnson has committed $10,000 and sponsor Extreme Networks has committed $10,000 – meaning that $20,000 in prizes are up for grabs. All prize money will be directed to the winning schools' Student Emergency Fund. Participating students represent their respective colleges and Student Emergency Funds.

Please encourage current students to sign up by Friday, April 24. Details are posted in the Sign up for SUNY Chancellor Esports Challenge by Friday, April 24 student announcement.

Rocket League
Platform: PC
Format: 3v3
We are looking to enter two teams with three players on each team.

Fortnite
Platform: PC, PS4, Xbox One
Format: 2v2
We are looking to enter two teams with two players on each team.

Participation is filled on a first come, first serve basis with registration closing on April 24. You can either register as a team or individually. To reserve your spot, please email Justin Hoyt at j.hoyt@hvcc.edu from your HVCC email address and include your full name, Student ID number and discord handle. I will respond to you and let you know your status. Please note, all students must be in good academic standing
