Hudson Valley’s women’s soccer student-athlete Sydnee Metzold (Rotterdam/Schalmont) has been named the NJCAA Region 3 Women’s Soccer Player of the Week. 

Metzold led the Vikings with eight points scoring two goals and adding four assists in a 1-1-1 week for the Vikings.  Sydnee scored a goal in the Vikings 2-2 tie against No.4 nationally ranked Herkimer College. She also added six points (1G, 4A) in the Vikings 8-0 win at Niagara CCC.

The Vikings are back in action this Sunday, October 7 as they travel to play North Country at 1 p.m.
