Tim Bush (Saratoga Springs/Saratoga Springs High School), a freshman wide receiver on the Hudson Valley Community College football team, has been recognized as an Honorable Mention All-American by the National Junior College Athletic Association for his performance during the 2005 season.
Bush caught 31 passes for 340 yards and two touchdowns. He also was recognized as a First Team All-Northeast Football Conference selection.
Hudson Valley finished the 2005 campaign with a 6-4 record and is ranked 20th in the final NJCAA poll that was released on December 5. Glendale Community College won the 2005 NJCAA national championship with a 50-48 win over Grand Rapids Community College in the Valley of the Sun Bowl.
